This week's story is a light one. Just a quick peek at what sworn enemies will do to get away from each other. And there's lots of fruit.

My nemesis is always there beside me.

A Family Affair

I wrote this one on Halloween.

Of course that means vampires and some blood.

And a Buffy reference. It's an obscure one. The first person to figure it out and send me an email with the right answer gets to pick the topic for my next story.

This week's story is gross.

That was actually the challenge. To write a story so disturbing that the reader would feel compelled to take a step away from the computer.

Maybe I should have put in more maggots in honor of Halloween.
